The moment I met Lexington preteen, DeVore, I knew that we would get along beautifully. She and her mother drove from Lexington to have some head shots taken. Afterwards, towards the end of the shoot, I asked Devore to wear this dress that I had recently purchased off of Ebay, just for this kind of occasion. It looks just beautiful on her.
Beautiful bride, Rebecca and her handsom groom, Wyatt had there Louisville wedding at Louisville Southern Seminary. I had never photographed a wedding there, before, but it was absolutely gorgeous! The lighting in the church was so elegant and soft. Really, it is a photographer’s dream! Both Rebecca and Wyatt are so sweet and such a joy to work with! I wish them all the happiness in the world, together!
These country girls are from Louisville, Ky. I decided to do a Country Girl themed photo shoot with the intention of using the pictures for a Teen Model Magazine spread. As hair and makeup artist, Andrea Ahl was styling these beautiful young ladies, we heard the sound of loud thunder, and then the sky opened up and began to pour buckets! Not to worry! We were going to head over to Spring Run Farm, where they were kind enough to let us shoot, and there is a barn with an over hang. We hung out there for a bit, pet the horses, and snapped some pictures. As the rain cleared for a very brief time, we made the most of it, and grabbed some shots. It is times like this that I feel challenged, but I absolutely love it! That is how we all grow, and I am thankful for the experience!
I had the honor of being Tom and Becca’s wedding photographer. Their wedding took place at The Marcus Lindsey, located in historic, downtown Louisville. Becca looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress that was purchased from Rebecca’s Bridal Boutique. The ceremony took place outside, and even though it was 90+ degrees it was a beautiful ceremony, officiated by Pastor Rob Gibson. Becca and Tom are two of the sweetest people, and they both have the best sense of humor! I could tell instantly how perfectly matched they are for each other. I wish you a long and lasting marriage!
A huge thank you to my wonderful 2nd shooter, Kerry Blackburn. She was so helpful!

Tannis and Grey are best friends, and they are both absolutely precious! They both are three years old and love to play together! That is why I thought it would be perfect to set up this shoot and have both of them involved! We took the pictures in Louisville in natural light, and were so fortunate enough to have Suzy Q’s Sweet Tart Bakery deliver beautiful, delicious cupcakes to use in the pictures!
